Biena, if you have cooked before, you will know that pinching salt with your fingers gives you better control of the quantity you want rather than using a small spoon. Call it power or whatever but that is how cooks have always done it through the centuries.

About not knowing how to read procedure, that is because common sense is not very common. It may also be a lack of the grasp of the language. Poor comprehension and lessening literacy in the English language has greatly affected many Filipinos.

perspiration adds saltiness to the salt? therefore makes the dish tastier? or because it’s easier to throw salt over the shoulder with one’s fingers (as opposed to using a spoon)?
